All our committees include experienced professionals with knowledge of a particular topic within health or social careProfessional members also bring specific technical skills to the process of developing and shaping our guidance.

Professional members can include:

Professional member roles

Topic experts and members

We appoint topic experts to join committee meetings covering topics related to their expertise.

Committee members are appointed for 3 years, or for the whole of the development of a guideline. They're expected to attend all meetings.
