Question

Evidence on the safety of ab interno canaloplasty for open-angle glaucoma shows no major safety concerns. Evidence on the efficacy is limited in quality and quantity, particularly in the long term. Therefore, this procedure should only be used with special arrangements for clinical governance, consent, and audit or research.
