These films are part of the resource produced by NICE to help trainers to deliver training which supports staff to implement NICE guidance in maternity settings with particular reference to NICE clinical guideline 110 Pregnancy and complex social factors. It is also intended to have wider applicability to NICE guidance which requires health and social care professionals to raise sensitive issues.

The films should be viewed by trainers and simulated patients to give insight into how to play their role at a planned training session. It is not designed to be used with participants. Film content does not supersede or replace NICE guidance.
