The NICE guidance and this adoption support resource relate to using HeartFlow FFRCT to estimate fractional flow reserve from coronary CT angiography.
Evidence supports the case for adopting HeartFlow FFRCT. It should be considered as an option for patients with stable, recent onset chest pain of suspected cardiac origin and a 10% to 90% risk of coronary artery disease.
Using HeartFlow FFRCT may lead to cost savings of £214 per patient, by avoiding invasive investigation and treatment.
