SEM Scanner 200 for preventing pressure ulcers

NICE has assessed SEM Scanner 200 for preventing pressure ulcers to help the NHS decide whether to use this product.

SEM Scanner 200 is a device designed to assess the risk of pressure ulcers forming before any tissue damage happens.

It shows promise but there’s not enough evidence to recommend it yet. NICE has recommended that further research should be done.
