Trend Care Systems UK Ltd has produced a toolkit that covers most of the factors that the NICE guideline on safe staffing for nursing in adult inpatient wards in acute hospitals identified should be considered when determining safe nursing staff levels. It also covers most of the factors which the NICE guideline on safe midwifery staffing for maternity settings identified should be taken into account in determining safe midwifery staff levels. These factors can be used in real time and as part of planning and establishment setting.
