7 About this resource

This resource accompanies the NICE guideline on asthma diagnosis, monitoring and chronic asthma management. It is an implementation tool that summarises the experiences reported by NHS sites that took part in the feasibility project and shares the learning that took place. For more information see the feasibility project report (appendix Q, page 835).

It is the responsibility of local commissioners and providers to implement the guidance at a local level, being mindful of their duty to advance equality of opportunity and foster good relations. Nothing in this document should be interpreted in a way that would be inconsistent with this.
