The Institute received three appeals from the British Association of Dermatologists, Serono Limited and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals against the Final Appraisal Determination and Guidance on this technology.

The Appeal Panel met on 27 January 2006 to consider the appeal lodged against the Final Appraisal Determination (FAD) for this appraisal. The decision of the appeal panel has been received and is attached.

This appraisal will go back to the committee on the 5th of April and a new FAD will be issued following these discussions. The comments on the Appraisal Consultation document (ACD) from consultees and commentators, and those received via the institute's web site will also be issued with the FAD.
