Review of NICE Technology Appraisal Guidance No 105: Laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of colorectal cancer

NICE proposed that the guidance will remain in place until it is incorporated into the Colorectal Cancer Guideline, which is due to publish in 2011.

During consultation, the majority of comments received by the Institute agreed with the proposal put forward.  After consideration of all of the comments (attached as Appendix A), the Institute’s Guidance Executive has decided to proceed with the proposal and the guidance will remain in place until it is incorporated into the Colorectal Cancer Guideline, due to publish in 2011.
