A survey measuring the impact of NICE technology appraisal 49: Central venous catheters - ultrasound locating devices

NICE guidance 49, reviewing the use of ultrasound locating devices for guiding central venous catheter (CVC) placement, was published in September 2002.

This survey, carried out over the summer of 2004, was designed to provide an indicator of the level of implementation and impact that guidance 49 has had over the last 2 years.
