They added such a test will likely reassure patients and ensure clinical care can be directed to those who need it most. The organisation noted that biomarker tests for pre-eclampsia are excellent tools, but that uptake of these tests has been minimal despite the success when they have been implemented. They stated that there appears to be some resistance from clinicians and commissioners, which they feel is a concern.
