Following the written consultation on the draft remit and scope and discussions at the scoping workshop, NICE compiled a summary of its findings into a report that was discussed at a post-scoping meeting with NHS England and the Department of Health and Social care. The report included advice and recommendations to aid in the decision making process as to whether the topic should proceed to a technology appraisal.
The post-scoping meeting concluded that an appraisal of perampanel for adjunctive treatment of partial onset or generalised tonic-clonic seizures in children aged below 12 years with epilepsy was not appropriate. This means the topic has not been referred to the Technology Appraisal work programme. |
